Sam Kim

Senior Pastor

Sam and his wife, Sejung, are so thankful and blessed to minister to and with their beautiful children, Song and Caleb. As a family they love to travel, explore, and adventure near and far. In addition to being the senior pastor, Sam serves as a chaplain to the Massachusetts State Police; and Emmanuel Gospel Center, a Boston-based mission group, of which he was previously a Board member, and the Director of Consulting and Youth Violence Systems Project. He is currently a Board member of the Conservative Congregational Christian Conference. He was also a Board member of VitalChurch Ministry, a national ministry to revitalize churches in transition or crisis. Prior to his work in ministry, he was a corporate lawyer and partner of a Boston law firm. Sam also served as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Navy during the Persian Gulf War. Sam has advised and empowered numerous for-profit, non-profit, and ministry organizations through their various transitions. Sam is a graduate of Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, Cornell Law School, and University of Kansas.


Elizabeth Adewale

Youth Pastor

Elizabeth was born and raised in Nigeria and moved to the U.S. when she was younger. She grew up in a Christian home but became born-again in 2013 while on a study abroad program in London. She loves the Lord and aims to continue to speak the truth of the gospel wherever she goes. She is currently pursuing her MDiv at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. She is also a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) and works with clients; her passion is to help couples continue to work on their relationships. Her favorite color is purple. She sings and dabbles in songwriting. She loves to learn about different cultures, as well as learning new languages. 


Cyndie Kim

Children’s ministry

Cyndie was born in France and moved to the United States when she was 8 years old. In 2008, she went to live in Korea and spent a decade living there, moving back to the U.S. in 2018. She now lives in Billerica with her husband Taeyeob and two daughters: Elina and Charlotte. As a family, they enjoy taekwondo, spending time with friends, and family outings to fun places. Cyndie has a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the University of Delaware and a Master’s degree in Korean Studies from Seoul National University. She speaks French, Korean, and English and is a former teacher of both English and French. She currently serves as the Sunday school teacher for elementary grades at IMC, and works as a master instructor and manager at Tiger An’s Taekwondo in Billerica.


Sul A Lee

adult and family pastor

Sula was born into a Christian family in South Korea and is blessed with a loving spouse, Daniel, and three wonderful children: Dani, Onyu, and Bom. From an early age, Sula felt a calling to ordained ministry, which has guided her journey in serving God and others. She graduated from Methodist Theological University in Korea and earned a Master of Divinity from Boston University. Currently pursuing a Master of Counseling degree at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, she is motivated by the hope of God’s work in restoring His image (Genesis 1:27) within us. Through her work with a nonprofit organization serving Israel and Palestine, Sula gained invaluable experience bridging cultural gaps and fostering mutual understanding. She also served as an associate pastor in Korean immigrant churches across the United States, where she ministered to children, youth, and their families, helping them deepen their faith and navigate the challenges of their unique cultural contexts. Elders

Elders are responsible for the government and spiritual oversight of the church, teaching and shepherding its people, and modeling for them the Christian life.
